Art Contest Rules and Regulations
Section I - General Rules
Only winners will be contacted with the results.
Contestants must write one or two sentences that will accompany the card.
There is no entry fee.
Section II - Qualifications For Contestants
Open to all students K-12th
Only one Art submission from contestants permitted
Deadline: Nov. 2nd, 2020 @ 5:00pm
Section III- Contest Rules
Art should illustrate compassion, kindness and/or giving
Submit digital image with a 300 dpi resolution
Illustrations should be in color
Photography is also permitted
Section IV - Judging
Judging will be completed by a panel of judges
Judges will not discuss or compare essays until all essays have been judged.

1st place - $100 Gift Card
Section V - Use of Competition Information
All competition entries become the property of Palette of Expressions. Palette of Expressions reserves the right to use any and all information related to the contest, including submissions provided by the contestants, for editorial, marketing and any other purpose, unless prohibited by law. Participants hereby grant Palette of Expressions a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide license to broadcast, publish, store, reproduce, distribute, syndicate, and otherwise use and exhibit the Submission (along with their names, voices, performance and/or likenesses) in all media now known and later come into being for purposes of trade or advertising without further compensation. Participants represent and warrant that they have full legal right, power and authority to grant Palette of Expressions the foregoing license and if applicable, have secured all necessary rights from any participants in, and contributors to, their Submission in order to grant such a license. Palette of Expressions are under no obligation to use any Submission or return the Submissions to participants.
Hey all, we have a fun art challenge for youth ages 6-17 years old. Prize 💲50 grocery 💳gift card to a store in your area.
Step 1: Find old recycable tin cans around the house, (used canned goods that your parents are or will throw out works best) rinse them out real good and let dry.
Step 2: Find items around the house that are no longer in use. Please ask your parents for permission if you are unsure. 😊
Step 3: Transform the tin can into a functional art piece
Step 4: Submit a video or pictures with a caption explaining what you used to create your art piece and what function it will serve. (Please use your imagination, think outside the box)
Step 5: Upload to facebook or instagram and use the following hashtags #paletteofexpressions #virginiajourdanfineart #Functionalart #Quarantinechronicles

All entries that follow the guidelines will be entered into a drawing. Entries will be chosen at random on Apr. 30th @2:00.
